You will find a new tab in the menu next to the quests called creative. In the Console type “CM” or “creativemenu”.The quality is random though, so you may have to reload if you want something better, but I don’t think you will complain. It can be a lot of fun and make the game easier or harder. Players can access this console to mod their gameplay. If you want it, Mod it in/use a third party server tool. The command console is a tool the developer uses while working on the game. It defeats too much of the game all on it's own for it to be vanilla And there's no way to balance around it. There's no risk of running out of food or water and starving or dehydrating to death, because you can just /home to your base if you get close.Īnd so, It will likely never be a vanilla feature. TFP don't want home and sethome commands because they feel it defeats important aspects of the game- There's no risk to getting injured for example, because you can just /home and reach your medical stockpile instantly. Some people may feel it goes against the nature of the game, but there are plenty who do not - why deny a simple addition to people who want to play that way? That's akin to making all servers PvP, and saying "It's the apocalypse, of course everyone wants to kill each other! Anything else would go against the nature of the end of the world".Even Minecraft doesn't have /home and /sethome as vanilla functions of the game- There are reasons abound for why, and we could argue it till we're blue in the face about if it should or shouldn't be a vanilla feature.īut, simply put, The minecraft devs didn't want it because, And so it remains the case in minecraft that it is not a vanilla feature.Īnd the same is true here. ![]() Originally posted by electricadrenaline: Being able to /home and /sethome should be a vanilla function of the game, something you can choose to turn on or off when you set up your server, just like choosing difficulty or zombie run speed.
